RX5 is the FIA’s grassroots rallycross category built around Cross Car vehicles. Introduced into the European Rallycross Championship in 2026, it gives emerging drivers an accessible first step onto the international stage.
A rallycross category based on FIA Cross Car specification car (lightweight, agile, built for intense mixed-surface racing).
RX5 lowers the barrier to entry and creates a clearer route for young talent moving from national Cross Car into international competition.
